Insulin Plant is a plant that has potency to be used as an antidiabetic drug. This due the presence of chemical content alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins and polyphenols. A research on effects insulin extract stem test (Tithonia diversifolia [Hemsl] A. Gray) in which was extracted by maceration using 96% ethanol, tests conducted animals mice induced with streptozotocin 40 mg/kg intraperitoneally. Tested were Divided into 5 groups, call now given different treatment. The treatment I suspension 1% Na CMC negative control. Treatment II, III IV administered per dose 125 mg / kg, 250 kg 500 kg. V glibenclamide positive Blood glucose levels measured glucometer mice.
